Medical Humanities Minor Classes

(with all possible approved elective substutions listed) offered Summer 2018.

Updated 3/21/2018

For full minor requirements, visit the bulletin.

To the best of our knowledge and research as of the date listed above, this represents a list of courses that would count (with all approved substitutions listed) towards credit for the Med Hums minor being offered in Summer 2018. Students themselves need to check the schedule of classes to see how these courses fit with their own (i.e. class days and times) and with their overall curriculum plan.

Students are responsible for informing John Powers when they take a class that is an approved substitution. To do this, please fill out the online Medical Humanities Course substitution form, found on the STS website.

Medicaul Humanities minors are not guaranteed seats in the following classes. Register as soon as possible for those courses that you want and/or need to earn your minor to avoid having to apply for an override into a full class.

If you are a junior or a senior with a Medical Humanities minor already on-file with CHS’s Office of Student Services (OSS), then Dr. Powers will work with you to help you get into classes you need before graduation. In order for this to work, you MUST contact him as soon as possible to let him know your desired courses. DO NOT WAIT!

Finally, know that faculty members in the offering departments ultimately have final say on issues such as enrollment and overrides into all courses listed.
